Allie + Sean were married at The Meadows at Firefly Farm in Raleigh, NC in May of 2019. Their dreamy outdoor wedding was inspired by their upcoming honeymoon trip to Italy. The Meadows was the perfect venue for the rustic, seaside aesthetic we wanted to create.

Inspired by the Amalfi Coast, we arranged the florals with lots of greenery, light-colored flowers, and pops of vibrant blue. The ceremony installation was one of our favorite pieces to design. The branch circle was installed on-site at the venue. It’s beautiful on its own, but the addition of pampas, roses, and delphinium added a softness that paired well with the natural elements of the space. It was worth it to be covered in pampas grass fuzz for the rest of the day! We decorated the reception area with lots of dried grasses, hanging vines, and delicate floating candles.

While many people came out to celebrate Allie and Sean’s love, their wedding felt uniquely intimate. One of the most memorable moments was Allie’s dad, Craig, and her cousin, Reva, performing Tom Petty’s “Wildflowers” for the guests.

Allie and Sean were Full Planning clients, so we worked with them from day one to plan the event and design the florals. They were a joy to work with, and the whole day was a beautiful success. We’re so glad we could bring Allie and Sean’s Italian seaside dream to life!
