Ashley + Arthur were married at The Rickhouse in Durham, NC in June of 2019. This whimsical wedding was like an indoor garden party complete with starry lighting and lanterns, elevated centerpieces, pastel blooms, greenery, and lots of candles. Delicious bbq, champagne cocktails, and great music made for a memorable and joyful event for everyone involved!
One of the best things about their wedding was that Ashley and Arthur hired the ultimate dream team of wedding pros. We love working with the folks at The Rickhouse, and then on our recommendation, they chose Ariel Kaitlin Photography, Magical Weddings, and Modern Alchemy who are some of our absolute favorite folks! It was our first time working with Vox DJ, and Alex was fantastic and kept the dance floor going til the very end!
The teams of Picnic and Top off Events brought the delicious food, drinks, and excellent service they are known for. We work with a lot of BBQ teams, but Picnic has some of the best sides and more creative, adventurous flavors in the mix. They are a fantastic choice if you are looking for BBQ but with an elevated flavor profile.
Ashley and Arthur’s wedding design was definitely one of our favorites this year because they wanted such a whimsical color palette for their flowers. We loved the blend of sweet, springtime pastels, with dusty neutrals and a touch of blue. They chose our collection of vintage milk glass for their centerpieces. We love this because each centerpiece is unique!
Ashley and Arthur are such sweet people and it was lovely getting to know them through the planning process. Their wedding was so much fun and our team left at the end of the night saying “now that was a great wedding!”
